How can I print white text on black geometry?

I am using AutoCAD 2002 and a HP DesignJet 755CM.

I am plotting with the default acad.ctb (color table) and set the text
object color to color 255.

This produces white text with small black dots - close but not good enough.
I tried various settings but unable to get completely white text on black
geometry.

What am I missing?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am also posting in the "general autocad 20002" news group.

I have searched both newsgroups and autodesk tech docs.

try setting color 255 to a 0% screen

Thanks for the input.

It seems that setting the screening to 0 using the plotter configured with a
"system" driver works well; however, using the AutoCAD driver does not give
you the same results. In fact, if you set screening to 0, it is completely
ignored and the color beneath shows through.

Thanks for your assistance

For the HDI driver, keep screening at 100%, color set to use object, Dither
on and Grayscale off.
