HP 500 - Objects plotting out purple instead of black

Just got our plotter setup. Everything is going great, thanks for the help on the earlier post. Only hold-up right now is that everything is plotting in purple instead of black. Even when we printed the Windows Test Page, text and objects that should have been black were purple. Removed all color options from the printer properties in windows and also checked the plot style table. Can't figure it out.

I know it sounds stupid - but all of your inks and printheads are in the correct places? as the black cartridge doesnt sit at the end , but one in from the left.

Thanks for the suggestions. Turns out we had a bad black printhead.
