DWGTOPDF.pc3 driver : How to print into PDF\A format ?

Hi there,

I tryed searching into the Advanced parameters of the DWGTOPDF.pc3 plotter but can't seem to find a way to set the PDF file format to PDF\A.
One of our clients ask's for that format and our stamping software for engineer too.

Anyone has an idea ?

Not an option with the built-in driver. You'll need to purchase a PDF driver with that ability.

Hi there pendean,

I see, i've been playing around with the DWGtoPDF ploter since i started this thread.

It's so quicker then a third party PDF.

Is it possible to convert a PDF to PDF\A format ?

With a Save as maybe ?

I'm using Acrobat 9 Pro and PDF/A is a "save as" option.

Cool !

Don't know if there's a batch conversion in Acrobat tough.

If your client was willing to accept a multi-page PDF it would be very easy. If not you could always do some research on Acrobat batch processing.

Hi there,

We swtiched for the DWG to PDF and it works pretty quick !

Plus the file size is really smaller.

But we noticed that sometimes the gradients come out all in black ... is it normal ?
