I have searched everywhere for this but can't find anything on it.
We are using the DWG to PDF pc3 to print all of our drawings. Everything comes out perfectly when we print to the PDF but when we send the PDF to certain printers (i.e. HP 5500) it is missing the shaded back lines.
This is not a CTB issue because it prints perfectly to PDF just not to the printer.
We have tested serever issues, updates and print drivers including firmware updates and nothing changes it.
When we use our PDF-XChange printer is comes out perfect no matter what printer the PDF is sent to. The PDF from the different printers also look exactly the same.
I have attached a test PDF from the DWG to PDF print.
Any ideas?
Win 7, 64 pro. We are using the Universal printer, have tried all versions that we can find. Its not the only printer having issues unfortunately.
I have tried all settings on the printers and the drivers and nothing works.
I know its the DWG to PDF print driver because the PDF-XChange driver does not have this problem. But I need some more definitive info for management and figured I would ask if anyone else has had the same issue.
We are currently using 2014 (C3D & Acad).
I have attached a test dwg that was created (not by me) to test universally.
The problem is the PDF's come out perfect, but when you print the DWG to PDF PDF to the printer is has issues with some printers.
The PDF-XChange printer does not. Its really odd.
Printing directly from cad to the printer has no issue either.
