Color mapping / raster plotting issue with 1050c and 1055cm from acad

When plotting color maps and rasters from Autocad to a 1050 and 1055, the
output on the 1055 is about 3 shades (noticeably) darker than the output
from the 1050. Both drivers are configured with the same printing
preferences / settings. This looks to be an Autocad problem because when I
plot the color / raster mapping from Photoshop and ArcGIS using the same
HP-GL/2 drivers the output is identical.

Any ideas on resolving this issue??

Are the "Lightness" sliders of both drivers at the same position?
