AutoCAD 2015 Publish Crashes After Processing

I've used Publish since it's inception and have never had a problem.  When I try to Publish with 2015 the drawings all process, you see the publish icon in the lower right animating.  After the processing is complete it crashes.  Fortunately, AutoCAD does not crash just the Publish process.   I've used the Publish command hundreds of times with AutoCAD 2014 and earlier and never had a problem.  What gives?

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Kim

Background Publishing on? It is by default, turn it off.
Publishing to what device? Does it crash if you Publish to DWF to PDF too?
Publishing to an HP device? Known issues with older units and 2015, no fix yet.

Thanks Dean, you 'da man.

I turned off background publishing, that did it.  Also, I am plotting to a Designjet 800.

"...Publishing to an HP device? Known issues with older units and 2015, no fix yet."   Where did you find out this info?

I'm curious, is this how Autodesk programmers give themselves job security, they remove features that worked so that they can fix them.  You pay good money for a few little improvements but then you have to put up with this kind of garbage.

Thanks again,

Kim

There is a published document from Autodesk about the topic: use Google Search to find it if you're interested.
