6204 plotter and tiffs

We use autocad 2008 and print to a xerox 6204.
If we have an autocad dwg file that has tiff files xreffed into it, the tiff files print out as solid block. Any ideas why or what settings I need to change to fix this?

What drivers are you using in AutoCAD 2008 to print
to the 6204 plotter?

Are you using AutoCAD's Heidi 6030 or 6050 or 8825
Wide Format driver?

We appear to be using XESgdi9.hdi.

I would try xes9.hdi instead.
