I'd be interested in knowing the feedback. I e-mailed to them last year and
their response was basically... "go to that other guy".

No reply what-so-ever from GTCO/Calcomp. I think we're screwed.

Then it must have been a regional brand to South Louisiana. Doesn't matter
anyway, Community Coffee has had the monopoly down here now for quite a
while. Even Starbucks can't completely break that hold.

Starbucks is all over the place up here in Philly....but I prefer our local
convenience store coffee, for about 3 dollars less :smileyhappy:
Please post if you hear any news at all about this driver mess, and I'll do
the same.

I'll definitely be keeping up with the whole digitizer driver issues by
posting myself, or watching for other posts.

Sorry Joel, I know I gave a response to your question, but for some reason it's not here.

I am running VISTA 32 Bit with AutoCAD 2008 and CadPro 16 Button.

mhr, is the tablet working for you? Are you getting use of your buttons and tablet area(s)? I've just upgraded to Vista Ultimate here at work and can't get the functionality I need. In fact, yours is the only hopefull comment I've seen with regard to the digitizers working in Vista. What's the story?

After the initial post I made about using AutoLISP to control the menu, I haven't really spent much time tweaking it out. The initial findings, however, are very positive. There are some minor issues I need to work out, but it's just a matter of time.

Far as the tablet menus, I haven't used them since R2000. Just aren't effecient compared to the icons on screen and the 16 button puck. I just use the digiter for it's absolute and more precise movement abilities. Having to look down and back up to use the tablet menus is something I don't miss.

I mainly use the tablet menu area 1, that can be customized with 225
commands, macros, lisp routines, etc. I find this to be a much better
solution than to clutter my screen with toolbars/icons. "To each his own", I
guess.

Cheers,
