EXIF information

Hi,

As I am using camera modules (from raspberry pi) instead of a proper camera, I was wondering is there any specific exif information recap tries to look for to better understand my images? I can manually update my exif information before I upload, I just need to know what fields are important.

Regards,

Richard

Hi Richard,

You would need to import the "35mm equivalent focal length (mm)"

And you should not crop the images in order for ReCap to locate the center.

That should be sufficient for best results.

Here is one handy website that can calculate this for you:

http://www.digified.net/focallength/

Cheers,

MItko

Hi Mitko,

One other thing I noticed about exif data, I am shooting in portrait mode and am specifying this in my exif data (orientation=7), this for instance works great in adobe bridge/photoshop. Any chance recap can look at this exif data (rotation) and also display the images in the right rotation?

Thank you, we’ll take it into consideration.
