inhaling smoke

hey guys,

as the title says - im trying to figure out a general workaround on how to create a decent looking

animation of a pair of human lungs in- and also exhaling smoke. It doesnt have to be medically accurate - "just" look good.

I just found an example clip here

I was wondering if that can be done with pflow - but any other software/plugin is fine too

tips greatly appreciated.

Pflow and FumeFX. In fact I would take a stab and say that was done with Fume, Sure looks like it.

You could probably do it with just PFlow with fake smoke with cards, I suppose enough of them small enough work, the problem you'll run into it the advective curling motion, kinda need an advection based solver to make that look nice, hence the Fume or PhoenixFD.
