Does MassFX use the latest Physx solver if I update Physx?

There are some superficial advantages to MassFX, such as having hull type in the main dialouge.

I have just updated my Physx to the latest version. Will MassFX use the latest Physx engine? O

You mean the full PhysX package from nVidia? Should do, until you apply a service pack (to Max) which will revert it back to the version originally supplied. You'll then have warnings/errors when you load scenes created with the full version. There's a couple of threads around here about that. IIRC (and I might not, so check) you would need to uninstall PhysX, install the SP for Max, then reinstall PhysX.

Max 2016 (SP1/EXT1)
Win7Pro x64 (SP1). i5-3570K @ 4.4GHz, 8Gb Ram, DX11.
nVidia GTX760 (2GB) (Driver 430.86).

Ahhhh,

well I think its all for not as Mass FX doesnt seem to be working now, so Im guessing it is overridden by Physx. Think I read that would happen somewhere.

So it appears once physx is installed massFX is nonfunctional.

Oh well, Physx seems to be running the simms much much faster.

thanks for the repply
