Using BOM Total Cost to calculate other fields

I would like to use the data field that is calculated in the BOM tab for total cost as a factor in a Computed Field Formula. A use case examples would be:

To calculate the cost of a certain lot size, or to add additional costs to BOM costs to calculate total costs.

How can the Total field from the BOM tab be used in a Computed Filed Formula?

Lyn,

The feature you are looking for is not available as of yet, however this feature is being worked on and you will have access to the information on the BOM tab shortly.

Hi,

I found this post from 2013... Is this still unavailable? It would be very useful to use BOM totals in calculated fields elsewhere in the workspace.

Hi Chloe,

In Fusion Lifecycle, the BOM is configured for a given day ('today' by default) and for a given bias. This means that the same BOM configured for different dates or different biases can (and often does) have different total costs. For this reason, we cannot make that value available for downstream calculations.
