When I try to upload data from an excel file I get this warning "The validator "Money" of field Travel Cost is not supported."
I have a PLM data type as "Money" and have tried formatting my cells in excel as Number or Currency. Will I need to change my PLM data type in order to import this data?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I was able to get the import to work, but only by changing all data types to "Single Line Text". After the import I edited the field and changed it back to "Money". Not ideal, but I was able to complete the import.
Scott,
Sorry about taking so long to get back to you but by chance did the money values have a sign (ie. '$') attached to them by chance?
No $ attached. It looks like PLM will not allow the field that data is coming into to be of Data Type "Money". It may have to do with the validation for that field. If you switch it to slngle line text it works. After the import I went back and then changed the field back to Data Type "Money"
Dear Scott,
I have just tried importing values in a Money field and have encountered no error.
Could you provide me with the steps to recreate your issue, including a screenshot of the settings for the money field and an excel sheet containing values to be imported?
Best regards,
I apologize, it does seem to be working now. I was not able to get the import to load files one afternoon. I have since tried and was able to upload into a money field.
Good to hear that it is working now, (did you do anything different this time around?)
And thank you for the update.
I am now encountering the same problem. And it includes also the field "Integer".
"The validator "Integer" of field Art nr is not supported."
"The validator "Money" of field Pris (SEK) is not supported."
I have checked the dataposts. They should be ok. I have added a UOM of SEK.
What more can I do?
Ann
