QR Code in an I frame?

Is there a sample available for an I frame to generate a QR code for an item? I'd like to be able to create a QR code that points back to the item the QR code resides in. I have a method for "extracting" the dmsid for the item so I can easily construct my URL....just don't know how to automatically create the QR code.

My goal is to use a tablet/smart phone to read the code and pull up the item in question.

Ultimately I need to print the code but I figure I can use a print view for that...though I haven't tried that yet.

OK. I tried this out and followed the instructions to a T and it isn't working for me.

1st I create the action script.

The I creatre the field PAGE_URL as a URL type and add it to my item details.

The I cretea a single line text and past in the computed fiels code. Whne I try to save I get an error message.

I tried and tried and tried and this is not working for me.

Can someone els try out the instructions and see if you get the same problem?

Glad you found that Orrin!  Was going to post the link for you.

I need to update that blog post - use || for the concatenation rather than + and see if that helps.

Hi,

I loks as if the problem has to do with the way the URL is generated. Have a look at the item URL the was created by the script.
