IMPORT TO MULTIPLE SELECTION PICKLIST

I had a question regarding the import tool. I was trying to import information to a multiple select linking pick list but it wouldn’t let me. I double checked and made sure the values I was trying to add exist.

I took a screenshot of the error I received. Did I enter the data wrong? Or is there something wrong on the PLM side?

Please instruct how to successfully import to a multiple selection pick list.

Hi Amrit,

Thank you for reporting this.

We are aware of an issue with multi-selection import failing with server-side error when the name of the field you are importing to contains a whitespace character. Could you try to create a new field in items and details page with no spaces in its name and repeat the import  with multi-selection values again?

Hi,

Is there a reason why you are not adding to the workspace? Please let me know if you were able to make some progress with this.

The field I am using for the pick list has no white space. I tried to do the import again by removing all spaces in anything, but still no luck.

I can do this manually in the workspace but it will consume too much time. I have to populate a multiple selection picklist for over 8 thousand entries.

If you can provide an example of how to import to a multiple selection picklist that would be great.

I'm having the same problem. I want to import and update several fields of the item details and if I have a multiple selection picklist, I receive a server side error.

What can I do? I'm not really caring about the multiple picklist right now, but it always gives me a server side error.
