It shows who current owners of the record are, when and by whom it was last modified and if someone cannot see the summary it may be that a user does not have permissions.  It should be noted that the owner is a very important concept in PLM 360 affecting permissions and often the ability to perform actions in scripting.

I agree, but it should also be able to be hidden when printing. It looks horrible and unnecessary on a print.

At the very least it should be small, indiscreet and at the very bottom of the print page. Currently it sits below the Item Details WS, but above all the other WS. It's bad placement.

Standard Print Views are set to print the info from the tab in an item in full based on the users permission.   The special permission “View Owner and Change Summary Section” could be removed to allow printing without the Owner and Change summary included but then you would not see the summary when viewing records throughout this workspace.

If you used Advanced Print Views you can add and remove sections you want to include in the print job and therefore can choose not to include the Owner and Change Summary.

Yes, it was the standard Print Views which I was refering to. There really does need to be a Summary section which can be added independently in a Print View.

Great Idea,  Please submit this request to the Idea Exchange to potentially be implemented in the PLM 360 product.

You can also access the Idea Exchange link from the Help Menu, within your PLM 360 Tenant.
