Advanced Permissions and Printviews

Hi All,

Is anyone aware if it's possible to restrict a category on an item to all groups bar one or two but to make the section visible to all on the Advanced Printview?

Hi Saorise,

Print views are based on the privilege level of the person that created it.

So if the Print view was made by an admin and shared to all, and the user has the right to run the report then yes the user can use that report.

As for hiding sections, you can do that as well. By going into the items details section and clicking on the pencil next to the name of the section you wish to modify, then clicking on show/hide advance options. This will bring up a choice of options such as hide / show, collapse, workflow locking, and restrictions.

This setting will not impact the report running.
