Would this be a nice and good idea? Or would Autodesk go bankrupt?

Hi all,

So I was just thinking to my self that many people use open-source software and companies support them, which is nice. However I don' know if Autodesk support any open-source projects (such as Blender) Main thing is it would be nice to support these projects I my self now use Blender since 3Ds Max is pretty expensive, and Blender is good and free, but what do you guys think? You think Autodesk should support (and help maybe make two three open-source software) for Blender. Personally in my opinion I think it just shows a companies respect towards open-source content, most bigger companies don't bother and leave them to it..What do you guys think?
