Total noob problem...

Hi all...

I'm still in the ObjectARX starting blocks - built the HelloWorld sample, attempted to netload the dll and get the following error:

Cannot load assembly. Error details: System.BadImageFormatException: Could not
load file or assembly 'file:///C:\ObjectARX
2010\samples\dotNet\HelloWorld\bin\HelloWorld.dll' or one of its dependencies.
This assembly is built by a runtime newer than the currently loaded runtime and
cannot be loaded.

I guessed this meant the Acad2010 runtime and checked for updates, but am already up to date.

Any clues?

• Windows XP pro 2002 SP3
• Built sample project in MS VisualBasic 2010 express
• I'm currently installing OS updates for laughs

Perhaps I need to use an older version of VS....

Sorted!  I'll just reply to myself in case anyone ever googles in future with the same problem.

Built in VS2008+SP1, but got the error "'IContainer' is Ambiguous in the Namespace 'System.ComponentModel'" for which there's a solution at  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/951089

Now it loads - I'm away laughing!

I've paid my duuuues......time after tiiiiiime.........I've done my sentance........but committed no criiiiime..... etc etc etc
