I have been setting up the installer for our app which uses the provided files from RealDWG 2011.
I was linking the icon files when I noticed that the included icon files in the Redistrib folder are:
dwg.ico
dwf.ico
The "RealDWG Logo and AutoCAD DWG Icon Use" portion of the help files state:
"If not already registered, the application using RealDWG must register with the file system the Autodesk DWG and DXF icons."
But there is no dxf.ico file provided. I think this is a mistake on Autodesk's part. They probably meant to include the dxf.ico file.
Fortunately for me, I have an older version (RealDWG 2008) and it has the correct icon file for dxf. Is this fact already noted somewhere? If so, are there other known issues for which I can acquire updates? Where?
Thanks

You are right this was a mistake. It will be fixed in the next release.
I can email you the dxf.ico file for RealDWG 2011 if you want it.
We don't do updates for the RealDWG SDK.
The 2008 and 2011 icons are quite different. if you send me an email (artc@autodesk.com) I'll reply with the icon attached.
