Hi Stephen,

I got the samplecode (37173.zip) that solved my problem. thanx !

before I asked this question in this discussiongroup I searched the
knowledge Database PointA for the keyword "extrudeAlongPath" and got no hits
because the code with this keyword was zipped (37173.zip).
It would be very nice from autodesk to unzip the souce code in the knowledge
Database.

Im sure that I had found this sample in the ADN-Database. The problem is
that im a student and have no money for the membership. Do you know if there
is a (not so expensive) ADN-Membership for students with international
student identity ?

Hi David,

Actually, we do expand the zip files, but for some reason the PointA search
engine didn't pick up that particular occurrence. I suppose it will be of
little comfort to you, but the ADN search engine found the corresponding
document without any trouble. Maybe we should list that as a benefit of the
program. 😉

About ADN membership:

The standard prices listed on our website are
a.. US$300 per site for authors, publishers and university researchers
a.. US$1,000 per site for all other organizations with 1 to 5 ADN users
a.. US$2,000 per site for all other organizations with 6+ ADN users
Perhaps you fall into the researchers category? Alternatively, you might
find that the education establishment where you are studying is already an
ADN member (or may be willing to join). Either way, I recommend you get in
touch with your local ADN Marketing contact (listed on www.autodesk.com/adn)
for clarification on this. (I deal with the support side of ADN only, so I
can't advise you on membership issues).
