How to create a checked grip menu on my custom entity?

Hi! I made my custom entity derived from AcDbCurve and i appended to it one triangular extra grip point like on a spline entity. I created a grip menu which appears when the cursor hovers over the grip using AcDbMultiModesGripPE class. But I have to imitate whole behaviour of the spline extra grip, so i need to make a checked or unchecked menu to switch between some modes. Can you help me?

Sorry for the delay.

I do not find any way to include the check mark in the multi-mode grips.

I have contacted our engineering team on this and will update you.

Hi Balaji!

If I understand this question correctly, this grip of AcDbSpline is not multi-mode grip but usual grip. And its menu activated with mouse click.

Menu can be created with help of AcDbGripData&colon::rtClk method. ObjectARX SDK 2008 has sample \samples\entity\grip which can help.

Thanks Alexander

Yes, you are right. It does not appear to be multi-mode grip.

From what I heard from the engineering team, the multi-mode grips also do not have the option to set the check mark.

I think that using Windows hooks (SetWindowsHookEx) to make it possible, but in any case it is rather difficult and is not relevant to the ObjectARX.
