GetDeviceCaps() from non-MFC OARX

Hi

How can you retrieve the display device metrics (mainly physical size in mm. and logical size in pxl.) from within a non-MFC OARX app?

TIA

Look up the following Windows API
calls:

GetSystemMetrics()

GetDeviceCaps()

You should be able to find documentation on the
msdn site.

Thank you, Joe

I was using GetDeviceCaps() to retrieve the physical display size, and getting erroneous results: it says the display is 337 mm wide, while the actual size is 377 mm.

Is that a known issue?

I suppose the device just reports wrong data. Maybe I should take it up with the LG people?

Is there a workaround?

I use 2 LG Flatron 19" LCDs.

Thanks

alex
