Extracting BOM from AutoCAD using C#

Hello,

I am doing a customization project in AutoCAD 2012 using C#.net.

My objective is to extract BOM table from an AutoCAD drawing using c# programming.
I am to create a custom menu in AutoCAD which will have the export BOM functionality.

Since I am new to C# programming I am finding it difficult to form the code.
Any sort of help is appreciated.

In addition to Balaji, I have to clarify that you have chosen the wrong forum. This forum discusses native ("pure") ObjectARX, i.e. only C++. For AutoCAD.NET API there is another forum: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/NET/bd-p/152
