Hi,
I have an ObjectArx command that takes around 20 seconds.
In all this time the user "can play" with AutoCAD interface and it get the message "Acad is not responding ...". And the user can select to close the application.
Now my question is: can I block the user interface as long as the command runs? I was thinking more like a modal dialog behaviour.
I'm using ObjectArx with AutoCAD 2010 (if this matters).
Ty,

The "user interface" that you refer to is a special temporary replacement window created by Windows when a window stops processing messages. The replacement window is there to provide feedback and a way for users to close the unresponsive window via UI. There is no way to disable that feature, except by hacking Windows
