I realized that a lot of my time running clash tests is spent sorting similar clashes into groups. It would be great if you could sort by the elements involved in a clash under the results tab.
In the mean time, what's the best method for sorting through the repeats?

Hi cbartlett,
In the results tab, you can right-click the geometry/object/layer/etc nodes listed in the ITEM1 or ITEM2 trees and select group clashes involving item. This will create groups automatically based off of the result you are viewing.
Also, the Filter By Selection tool is useful to turn on in the results tab and select layers/object/items in the view or in the selection tree which will limit the results list to only clashes that involve those elements.
In terms of sorting, if you right-click in the results column headers and select Choose Columns, you can turn on clash point. You can then click the column header for clash point column to sort on that and it should order the clashes by where the clashes reside in model space.
If you have a very large number of results, you can try setting up clash rules or setting the tolerance to a more restrictive value for less results. I’d also suggest creating additional clash tests with more specific selections.
