Timeliner/Animator - Render extents

HI all,

so over the last few days (maybe weeks now), i've been getting to grips with the Animtor & Timeliner tools. I've linked a construction programme to a model and it's elements and have successfully managed to simulate the construction (hurrah!).

However, my computer struggles to render the whole movie (i'm exporting as jpegs). It gets to around 1500, then runs out of memory.

Is there no way to set the extents you want to render from within timeliner???

Because the simulation is attached to a camera animation, I can't see anyway to start the rendering from where my conputer crashed. Hence, i'm in a stalemate of 1) try the whole thng again for the 4th time, reducing the quality each time, or 2) override the simulation dates then somehow chop and change the camera animation to match the last rendered frame (very approximate).

Why, like every other programme, can't we export a section of the simulation only...?!

e.g.  "From frame": 1, "To Frame: 500"
