Show Grids button under view tab

There's a "show grid" button under the view tab.

I couldn't find this button when I switch my workspace back to classic mode.

Any idea how to find this button in the classic mode?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

In the Classic user interface mode the ribbon is turned off.

Which Navisworks (manage, simulate) and version are you using?

Can you see the other options under the view tab?

Were you ever able to see it before?

Please upload an image of your screen.

That's not true.

I'm using Manage 2013.

I received the file that has the grid in it.  My worksapce is always in classic mode.

When I opened up this file, I can see the grid in the file while I'm in classic mode.

The "show grid" option is not available under the View tab.

I have to intentionally switch from classic to standard mode in order to see the "show grid" button.  From there, I turned it off, then I set it back to classic mode.  That's how I was able to turn it off.  My question is why this "show grid" option is NOT available in the classic mode.

Now I understand what you meant.

Unfortunately, that is not possible. The "show grid" button is an option in 2013 and it is not available in the Classic Mode.

In that case you will need to do what you have been doing.

If you wish to see that feature I would contact our development team directly by clicking on the libk below.

It is setup for you to submit feature requests, or feedback, directly to our development team:

I encourage you to use the feedback link as our Development group is always interested and would like to hear your feedback directly, since you are better suited to state the business case for a feature request.

Hope that helps.
