Revit Wall Layers

Hi everybody

I´m exporting a basic wall with 4 layers with different materials from Revit 2011 to Navis Manage 2012, and all I get is the material of the outer layer.

I´m quite sure Navis 2010 and 2011 managed to export all  the layers and their materials.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the help

Roberto

Hi roberto,

Try checking the Selection Settings......this makes a difference into "how far down the layers" that NW shows properties.

See Attached.

Hi,

This year we support Revit's new construction features, you'll need to enable 'Convert Construction Parts' in the export settings.

You can find more information about new Revit support here

Please let us know how you get on.

Thanks Mike !

No progress. I can´t get my wall layers.

My screen capture shows an empty wall with the outer finish layers (plaster) and the inner layers gone.

Is this issue is solved with the Revit 2012 wall elements feature?

Thanks
