QuickPen and NW

I have installed the QuickPens OE, PipeDesigner3DViewer for 2012.  When I open the DWG with Acad2012, the pipes are wireframe while the rest of the model is solid (shades).  With Navisworks, if I open the DWG directly or use the in AutoCAD command NWCOUT, I get the same results, the pipe is wireframe, everything else is solid.  I tried a 3D DWF export from AutoCAD and got the same results in the DWF.  Can someone tell me if this is a problem with QuickPen or with NW, and if there is a fix?

This sounds like a possible issue with the Quickpen OE, if AutoCAD is having issues then there is nothing additonal Navisworks can do to make the objects appear.

Do you have the latest version of the Object Enabler installed from Quickpen?

From a Navisworks point of view we ask you to check 3 things

Correct OE installed

Loader year in options correct

Render mode in options set to shaded, but it's unlikely this will solve the problem if it doesn't work in AutoCAD.

Go to "PD3D tools and find the "miscellaneous" drop down menu. Click "Client Export" and save the file that way. then it will be usable with all programs.  Whomever is giving you this file must "Client Export" it
