Overlay text not displayed

Dear forum members,

I've tried several time to show a overlay text during timeline simulation.

Unfortunately the text doesn't pop up when I run the simulation. the rest of the simulation runs as expected.

Does anyone knows what goes wrong? Did I forget to enable/disable a setting in an options window?

Overlay text is:

%A %X %x Day=$DAY Week=$WEEK

i have same issue with him or her (sorry..) in Navisworks Manage 2013.

If i remove all of the text in overlay text edit window, it shows date,

however i put something, it shows nothing.

anyone knows the answer?

I found a soluton even though that is not right answer...

In the overlay text edit window, add new line in the extras tab..

then put other data whatever you want

if so you can see the result what you want to see.

Hi,

I have the same problem with NVX Manage 2014 SP1 with factory design utilities.

Runs on Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64 french. NVX is in french as well.

Exact version of navisworks is 11.4.0.101763. I will open a case in Autodesk support.

Kindly switch to presenter mode in home tab under tools panel for overlay text visibility.

In my case the text font was not defined so the text could not appear. Try to define a font in the text properties in the dialog box 😉
