Navisworks Support to the SP3D VUE file

Dear Experts,

Currently Navisworks is not supporting SP3D VUE file format.

Is there any other way we can use SP3D exported model in Navisworks?

Is there any future plan of Autodesk to create SP3D interface with Navisworks?

No, Navisworks can not open VUE files directly,

however there is a work around if you program your SP3D server so that it exports selections to DGN files.

Another route is offerd by http://www.unitec.de/company.html

They export DGN ánd XML from SmartPlant 3D and recombine this in Navisworks for the geometry ánd the data.

I believe ther are other 3rd parties that offer such solutions also.
