Hi,
i have created an object animation (rotation) of object.
And have already got an viewport animation created.
i want to combine the 2 and have the object animation start at a certain viewport in the animation.
i have been using the scriptor, but everytime i enable scripting in the animation the object anmation starts from the beginning, even when i state a time or viewport for it to start.
Thanks for you help.
Stephen
Here is a image of the object i am trying to rotate, basically rotate the wheel as new segments come in, i have creted 28 seperate viewports with the different segments turned on..
thanks
I'd suggest you look at creating your Viewpoint Animation within Animator as it gives much greater control. This blog post provides more information about this.

If you are controlling this using scripts you can also use Pause Scripts to allow time for other actions to take place whilst the wheel is rotating.
thanks lee.
From past experience have you managed to do this with an object animation and views??
And can just import the existing viewports into the animation tool?
thanks
Stephen
Lee i have tried controlling the viewport with the animator, but it does not seem to recognise what should be switched on and off, which happens in a viewport animation.
Any ideas on how to control this?
thanks
