Inconsistent switchback to certain objects in Revit MEP

HVAC and Plumping & Piping fittings incl. sprinklers aren't selected in Revit when using Switchback.

However, regular pipes and ducts are working perfectly. The problem occurs only for fittings and sprinklers.

Select by ID in Revit doesn’t work either for the same objects (fittings and sprinklers). I wonder why, any ideas?

I use Revit 2013 with R2 and Navisworks 2013 with SP2.

 

Please help!
