Importing from Bently and revit to Navisworks

Hi

We are starting our first BIM managers role using Navisworks for clash detction and have 2 disciplines using Revit 2013 and 1 using Bently.

Has anyone had any experience with importing both Revit and Bently into Navis and doing clash detections and reports from this?

Also we wish to export the model with all 3 disciplines out after clash detaction has taken place. What format can we export from Navis that all could read or is it possible to export a dwfx from Navis.

Many thanks Barry

Hello, you can bring in Microstation and Revit models into Navisworks. There are different options, and all your models need to share the same coordinates, otherwise, you have to transform (move) them to work properly.

out of the box, you can export our DWF(x) and FBX files. There are third-party tools like iConstruct that allow you to export IFC and DWG.
