Export Revit to Navisworks

Hi, 

These are some  problems when I export Revit to Navisworks:

    1: Are there different problems for each Revit flavour when exporting to Navisworks? if so, please give some information or relvent links...

    2: As far as I know, the color of objects will be lost when export Revit Mep to NW and  the texture will also be lost when export Revit Architecture to NW. and  current I find that the edge of obj (like wall) also be lost. So what the reason of these and corresponding solution?

    3: All object in Revit has these Information: Category, Family, Family Symbol, I noticed that when I export Revit to Navisworks ,an nwc file created , and open it in Navisworks, I can find above infomation in the property of object in element propertyCategory, but the parameter of Family is not always exist, some object will not have this property just have Category and Symbol, so why? Is there a way I can find all of them?
