Display Position in NavisWorks Freedom 2011 or higher

Hi,

in NavisWorks Freedom 2009 and lower, with the Options -> Interface -> Display

at the bottem, under "Heads up"

One had the possibility to show a compass and to "Show Position"

Can this be activated in NavisWorks 2011 and 2012 also ?

- In the options interface, the settings are gone

- In the Options.xml that you can export-import, the setting is there. The Compass is showing up, but the ViewCube is almost the same, so I do not quite need that any more

- But the Coordinates of "show positon" are no longer there.

What I really want to do is search for an item in the model,

select it,

Zoom in to selected (Page Down)

and then ask of the object on what coordintate it is placed.

What's the point in drawing a 3D model and viewing it,

if you cannot display any 3D coordinate any more ?

Hi Patrick,

You can go to the View Tab > HUD > Position Readout.

I hope this answers your question.
