Connect Autoplant (Access DB) to Navisworks 2012

Hello,

I have Autoplant XM installed and Navisworks manage 2012. When I hit the Datatools button I see 5 Autoplant items: Autoplant central multi-project, central single project, local equipment, local nozzle, local piping. wich of the boxes needs to be ticked? And what are the settings for each item?

I want to create an embedded nwd file with included data of valvenumber, linenumber, specs etc.

Thank you for your help,

Stephan

These are Autoplant settings, you would need to check the type of installation and type of project you have set up in Autoplant, if you are not sure, please speak to the person who set the Autoplant project up.

You can embed the database properties but these will only be visible in Simulate and Manage.

We switched to Autodesk Plant Design suite ultimate 2014.

The best choice for us. because of crappy service of bentley.

I never got it to work.

You mean, those embed properties cannot be read through any API? Those are just visible in Simulate and Manage software? Is there any way to read those properties in our code while reading the navisworks file?

Sampath.
