Cascading Licenses.

Hello,

is it possible to use a cascading license with navisworks simulate and manage. I hope that i can use this konfiguration in a network with all possibilities of the software, sometimes with clash detectiv and sometime without the clash detectiv.

Greatings

Holger

Hello holger.wolff ,

There is some basic license functionality that basically “cascades”, but it's not a "cascading" license type. Navisworks Simulate will open with either a Navisworks Simulate or Navisworks Manage license. A Navisworks Manage seat will only open with a Navisworks Manage seat.

If you are hoping for functionality past this, you should log this for our developers. Our enhancement portal is here:

Hi, does that mean that with an AEC Collection/Navisworks manage license or any other license that includes Navisworks Manage I am entitled to install and use Navisworks Simulate?

Thank you,

Cosmin

you already asked this: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/navisworks-forum/cascading-licenses/td-p/2828191

you don't need to post the same question multiple times
