I have installed Freedom 2012 on a Windows 7 Enterprise laptop and when I attempt to run the app I get the cursor indicating activity then nothing.
The laptop is well with spec and exceeds all the system requirments to run the application
I have updated the graphics driver to the latest version still unable
Has been installed and uninstalled on multiple occasions still unable
Have disabled Anti Virus thinking this might be preventing it still unable
Installed the app on idenitcal laptop and runs perfectly
Everytime I try and run app roamer.exe runs for a short time and in event viewer the application error is logged

Hi there,
PGHook.dll is not supplied as part of Navisworks. It is, as I understand it, part of Avecto's Privilege Guard product. Navisworks should run under a standard user account, but it has not been tested under third party products that manage user rights, as far as I am aware.
Can you try Freedom without Privilege Guard active? Can Privilege Guard be instructed to treat Freedom as a normal user application?
Hope that helps,
Jeff
Read entry about Avecto earlier and just went in one ear and out the other
Removed Avecto Freedon now works ok
Thanks
NavisWorks (any version or flavor)
is incompatible with Avecto Privilige Guard 2.7 (Build 52)
the solution is to upgrade Avecto Privilige Guard 2.7 (Build 63) or above
or to downgrade to Avecto Privilige Guard 2.6 (Build 151)
