AutoCAD MEP Pipe and Fitting Properties not showing up

when viewing AutoCAD MEP 2011 pipe and fittings in navisworks I am not seeing all of the object properties (specifically size and type). On the other hand - I am able to see object properties for mvparts. (i've attached screenshots for reference)

all objects were modeled with AutCAD MEP 2011 and viewed in navisworks Simulate 2011.

We believe this should be resolved in Navisworks 2012 with the Service Pack 1. Links for both are below.
