Been Looking for Alternate Control methods for Navis other than a mouse. I'm getting used to driving it around but it seems like a joystick would feel more natural than a mouse. Is there a plug in or something for Navis to get it to recognize a joystick?

It would depends on the drivers for the external device you are using. We officially support 3D Connexion input devices, you need to install their latest drivers and these have been very popular with users.
Otherwise you may need to write your own drivers for this, we have seen people experimenting with Nintendo Wii remotes, and Xbox Kinetic amongst others with mixed results.
The stick I'm trying to use is a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro
Driver # 5.9.129.0
Dated 04/27/10
BTW thanks for that link If this dosn't work I think one of those will do nicely.
If you have difficulties then you should look at contacting Logitech to see if they can improve their drivers to provide Navisworks support.
Hi Lee,
Has further progress been made in Navisworks to make it easy for users to use joysticks such as the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro? If not, please point me to resources so I can create a simple driver to navigate around. Best regards,
Emmanuel
