Hi All,
I want to save viewpoints from Timeliner (basically just the "Hide" effect from Timeliner) to have a basis of the model at point in time and refine how it looks once I close the Timleiner windows.
Right now, I play the timeliner animation, pause it at a specific date and would like to add mode detail to that view (Hide more elements, reveal some that were not attached to any tasks...)
How can I do that? Any viewpoint saved when Timeliner is running does not save what timeliner shows/hides?
There was a similar post a while back but that one ended up being an Appearance Profiler question.
Thanks

The display state (Show/Hide) from Timeliner will not currently be included when saving viewpoints. There is a feature request open to allow this functionality.
Note: You can use our Product Feedback page to submit more feedback on why this functionality would be beneficial to your workflow.
Actually I found a workaround using the "Find tool" to look up all activities that are done by a specific date. Then "Hide Unselected" and save a viewpoint. Works even better! Thanks though.
Two and a half years later, and still nothing I can find to help with this issue. I guess I'll have to train my guys on how to view Timeliner simulations and watch out for the closing it.
I put in a new feedback request as well.
