Refreshing speed

I am working in Navisworks Manage 2014 and am continuously apending bigger microstation and AutoCAD files into the program.

as it gets bigger the load time when I refresh to observe any changes in the model is getting substantially longer.

It only really starts to slow down when it comes to the merging phase.

Is there anything I can do to speed up this process?

-> File Readers
both with DWG and DGN: set convert references OFF
