Quantification with IFC files

Hi all,

I've put a test IFC file into NW to try out quantification, I can get my windows to add in, and count them, but not to give me dimensions, I understand from importing a revit test that in the item catalog height =modelheight automatically. Can I repath these formulae to check against my IFC properties, in this case, 'overallheight'

Many Thanks,

Matt.

I am having the exact same issue -- any word?

Also, is it possible to take off a Search Set to a Catalogue Item so that new model objects will be automatically added to the Take Off?

Hi Medietri, I had some joy following the guidance from here:

http://de0qmbqba3hfm.cloudfront.net/attachments/149616/2 you have to find and edit (after saving a copy of the original, just in case) the takeoffpropertymap xml file.

Not sure about the search sets question, maybe post as a separate question.

Hope this helps,

Matt.

Thanks so much for your help.  Not an elegant solution, but at least there is one!
