Seems Manage 2014 when opening a Native revit file takes forever, the files I have been trying to open were done with Revit 2012, I havent been sucessful opening one yet (loose patients). Manage 2012 and 13 open the files fine.
When trying to load a box pops up and is flasing through REGENERATING and UPDATING REFRENCES that keeps going and going.
I don't believe you can do today's job with yesterday's methods and be in business tomorrow.
Seems what ever setting is having Navis 2014 go through Updating References and Upgrading Previous Version Document and Regenerating is causing the lag.
