Hi,
I have a timeliner simulation with a few items animated. It works great if i send out the entire simulation, however, when i override the dates to send out just the end, the animation does not work. Is this a bug? Any one else see this issue?
I have seen issues with animation where dates overlap (i.e. multiple display overrides are being applied and removed to elements, with differing start/end times).
If the animation is setup to start at a certain point, and you are overriding things so that the start point doesn't occur, then the changes to elements may not be applied as expected.
It may be easier to modify the exported animation (to remove the earlier portion of the simulation from the video/image output).
If this doesn't apply to what you are seeing, a Chronicle video might be good to convey the specific unexpected behavior you are seeing.
Thanks, that kind of defeats the purpose. The idea behind overriding the start and end dates is because something happened and you just need to rerender the second portion. In this case the computer crashed after rendering out png files for 7 hours...rather than rerender those 7 hours i'd like to just start it where it left off. Time doesnt always permit for the entire rerender. It also didnt matter if the object was in the middle of an animation of if the animation hadnt started yet. Neither one worked with the override.
Is the issue you are seeing specific to outputting the simulation, or does it also show up when playing back the simulation within Navisworks?
