Navisworks Simulate 2013 - avatar issues

I have a presentation via skype screen share in 2 hours...

The avatar - cannot change his height or model.

The drawing is metric in mm.

Options > Interface > Viewpoint Defaults > Collision > Settings

Viewer > changing numbers does nothing. ( before and after save / restart )

Third Person > Enable > office male > changing numbers does nothing ( before and after save / restart )

it stays at an aprox. 2" construction worker.

the drawing is metric.

Navisworks Freedom - works great with no issues with an avatar at the correct size, but all the materials are gone.

so I am trying to use simulate.

Any suggestions?

Hi

The settings in the Options > Interface > Viewpoints Defaults only effect the viewpoint created when you open a cad model.  For example, if you open Navisworks and open a DWG file, the current viewpoint will open with those default viewpoint settings.

However, if you are already working in a saved NWF or NWD, when you open the file, the current viewpoint is set to whatever it was set when you last saved.   To edit the current viewpoint, click the edit current viewpoint button (the camera with a pencil) under Viewpoint > Save,Load & Playback.  This setting will edit the current view of the model. After getting a correct viewpoint, I'd save the viewpoint for later use.

Also note, that any viewpoints you already had saved listed in the viewpoints window will have their own settings, which likely have an incorrect avatar height.  You'll need to edit those as well by right-clicking them and selecting edit.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue.
