Hi there!
One of my customer is really addicted to 3D vision, and bought a workstation class Vaio notebook,
with 120Hz active glasses, but he could not manage to activate the 3D option in Navisworks.(30day trial, Manage)
Already checked these options:
-nvidia control panel - all 3d stereoscopic option on, opengl support on, quad buffer on
-have the latest driver
-tried different screen resolutions
-found the view/stereo option inside Navisworks, and switched on
BUT he could not manage to see the integrated demo datasets in 3D with the glasses on.
If anyone knows how to force Navis to start operate in 3D, please help me!
Best Regards,
Laszlo
Hi marodi,
Navisworks does not officially support 3D Vision for Stereo viewing. We have enhancement requests logged in this regard. I recommend logging one yourself on the customer feedback page:

Some users who were having issues with their 3D Vision Stereo managed to get theirs to work after installing the latest drivers from NVIDIA and adjusting some settings in the NVIDIA control Panel:
1. Open the NVIDIA control panel
2. Click manage 3D settings
3. Select “3D openGL stereo” in the Global presets list.
4. Set 'stereo display mode' feature to 'Generic Active Stereo(with NVIDIA IR emitter)'
5. Set 'stereo - Enable' feature to 'ON'
Alternatively, another user stated that the setting was “Generic Active Stereo (with Nvidia 3D Vision)” in step 4 above.
Please let us know if you find a solution
