Naviswork Trial Is Not Working

Has anyone had problems with getting any of the trial software to work?

I've have had minor problems and or questions, that relate to Naviswork, the 1st being I did not know you needed another software package like AutoCAD to upload drawings to Naviswork. If anyone has any input that may help please feel free to educate me.

The 2nd problem I've run into is getting the free trial to work.

The viewer (Naviswork Freedom 2011) seems to be running fine. It’s the Naviswork Mange program that is giving me the problem. The error message I'm seeing is a "A Valid license could not be obtained" message.

I'm not sure if I need to "Re-download" again, or if I've done something wrong during the installation.

Again, if anyone is able to point me in the right direction that would be great.

Thank-you.

Regards,

Milton

milton.fitzgerald,

Hello. Navisworks does not create geometry/CAD models. It views the models from CAD applications, sometimes different vocations, and can pull them all together into one viewable file – which you can view, run clash on, or add materials, timeline, etc. It is used alongside AutoCADs, Revits, Inventor, etc.

The free trial. If you are receiving a “valid license error” you have not installed the program as a trial installation (thus it needs a license) OR you had a trial of the application on the machine at one stage and the trial expired (thus it needs a license).  Uninstall and reinstall as a standalone/trial. When you startup, a splash screen should display listing the number of days remaining in your trial, unless it had been installed in the past. Only one trial will install on any given machine.

Hi

I'm having a similar problem.

I want to try out the 64bit version.

I have installed it on a brand new PC (Win 7 64bit with no previous installation of Navisworks), and I cheked both the 30 day trial, and the single install bottons. But when launching Navisworks Manager, it wants me to activate the software.

I have tried to redownload and reinstall Navisworks, but this keeps happening.

Do I need to reinstall Windows as well?
